A network of the members of all Irish dynasties, all characters whose culture is Irish and their spouses. Nodes represent dynasties and vertices represent a marriage between two dynasties. Nodes are sized by PageRank; larger nodes are more popular and are connected ("married") to more popular nodes.

The network is colored by the modularity statistic in Gephi. Nodes that share a color belong to the same cluster and are more connected to each other than to nodes in other clusters. The pink cluster on the left is based around the Mac Máil Na mBó, the Ua Conchobar Sligig and Burke dynasties who ruled in Connacht, there is a cluster based around the Eóganacht-Locha Léin and in the bottom right a cluster around some of the Ulster dynasties.

The Eóganacht-Locha Léin ruled Munster and much of Leinster and even held the title King of Aquitaine for a brief while. The Ua Briúin Bréifne ruled Connacht before being replaced with the Mac Finnachta. In between and connected to these three large nodes is the De Vannes, a Breton dynasty who ruled briefly as Kings of Ireland.
